mechanical vs hydraulic brakes - skywalker - November 30, 2025
I'm still shopping for my scooter. Being undecided does not help.
Anyways, should I be considering the brakes? I know some of these scooters can go really fast, particularly hyper scooters. Would hydraulic brakes help? Is it worth the extra price?

In general, if you are going higher up in price roughly above 2K you are getting into the hyper scooter area those usually come with hydraulic brakes. They do help, they are worth the price and they are there for good reason. They are also self adjusting, just have to top of the fluids if soft.
