Attachment image embedding guide - efunrides - April 28, 2026
Attachments always show up underneath your posts as clickable thumbnails. There is a way to embed the attachment as an actual full resolution image in your post. Follow the below steps.
1. ATTACHMENTS - upload image by clicking "Click or drop some files here to upload..." in the attachment section.
2. BROWSER - upload popup will come up - select your file.
3. ATTACHMENTS - click "Insert Into Post" at the bottom of the page in the attachments section.
4. POST - you will see [attachement=15] in the post editor.
5. ATTACHMENTS - click "Preview Post" button right below the attachments section.
6. PREVIEW - you will see the image inserted as a clickable thumbnail. Click on the thumbnail of the image you just uploaded.
7. BROWSER - a new tab/window will open . COPY the URL of this image from the browser bar. It will look something like this: https://efunrides.com/attachment.php?aid=15. Close the new tab you opened.
8. POST - click "Insert an image icon" on the toolbar. PASTE the URL into the box.
9. POST - you will now see the attachment embedded as part of your post.
At this point the text of [attachement=15] is no longer needed in your post. Regardless, tumbnail version of the attachement will still appear below your post in the thread view.
TIP: If you are unsure of how your post will show, always click PREVIEW POST to see!
