Low watts and long range electric scooter - Joee - September 11, 2025
I am looking for a scooter that has low power / wattage drain, but would have a nice range. I want to stay save and really have no need for a fast super scooter. In other words - I want go far, but not fast :) Is there anything out there that would fit this?

Usually for longer range you need to get into 52V or 60V areas but that is the area of hyper scooters and they go fast. Something like 36V would probably have a shorter range but also won't go as fast. So in general range and speed go hand in hand. You can always get a more powerful scooter and make a choice not to go fast. They usually have "gears" / "modes" where you can limit your speed.
So if you want longer range, then more power needs to be there.
What sort of range would you be happy with?

I was hoping for around 65 miles range.
