What determines the range on eScooter battery? - skywalker - October 18, 2025 I am seriously considering getting an eScooter. Still considering an eBike but I think eScooter it is. Can someone explain what determines the range on an eScooter battery? Is it the Volts (V) or is it the Amp Hours (Ah) ? Does the motor Wattage play into this calculation? RE: What determines the range on eScooter battery? - scooterman - November 8, 2025 It’s both Volts (V) and Amp Hours (Ah) that matter, because together they determine the total energy a battery can deliver, measured in Watt-hours (Wh), which is simply volts times amp-hours. The voltage determines how much electrical "pressure" is available to push current through the motor, while the amp-hours indicate how much charge the battery can store. |
