So my brother picked up this tube on Amazon for 26 x 4 fat tire. I put it in, started to pump it up, and out of a sudden - one side just popped out. This was after I was reaching between 15 to 20psi. Thinking that maybe the tire is somehow deformed, as it was shipped compressed and folded, or that perhaps something did not align, I tried again - same thing!! Upon close inspection - below in pictures is what I discovered. I performed round 3 just for the pictures. It turns out the actual tube was deformed. That can be seen much more clearly after you pump up the tube only.

THE CULPRIT:

fat on the right, skinny on the left
I have been changing tires for over 15 years (2 years on fat tires) and never in my life have I seen a deformed tube. Just thought I would share.
