This got me thinking.
Mike Kazimer makes a good point: peak power doesn't matter as much once you hit the 20mph assist limit. Batteries drain fast and trees don't move. His real message is "don't be a jerk" to keep trail access open. So isn't this the best of both worlds? You get up to speed quick, but remain within 20mph for safety.
