Hiboy apparently has stem issues?

Today I went into local scooter store, and sales guy tells me that Hiboy scooters have an issue with stem breaking.   I just randomly asked about that brand.   They did not sell Hiboy and he was trying to push other brands onto me so wondering about the honesty.  Has anyone experienced this?

This is actually true, so maybe you actually got an honest sales guy.  This issue was on the S2 and S2 PRO for the ones manufactured around 2021.   Should be good for anything made 2023 or later if you get a new one, so maybe be careful if you are considering buying used.   Normally, they would probably cover that with a warranty claim if you are within the warranty period.
