Battery maitance principals from Tesla applied to escooter battery?

Would it be true that the 2 major principals for maintaining a tesla battery would also apply to scooter batteries?   Meaning do not charge above 80% and always leave it plugged in?

If you look around the board, there are few similar threads.  The general consensus for PEV vehicles is just like any other li-on batteries.  Keep at 60% to 80% unless you know you are going far.
