Electric skates - what is the point

This seems new and there are only few brands out there.

That is all I was able to find. It seems kind of fun, but at the same time - what is the point? Do you still end up putting some efford into push and glide, or it just rolls the wheels for all the time? Does it feel like skating? Anyone out there who actually tried it?
