Question about parts compatibility across brands

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I see so many different brands of ebikes and I want to know if bicycle parts from one brand would be compatible with others?

The electric components are not compatible.  Those are the ones you would really want compatible and they are most of the cost in an ebike.  What is compatible are general bicycle parts.
