Hey everyone,
With the growing number of electric mopeds and motorcycles on the roads, I’ve been wondering if we should we start setting up dedicated charging infrastructure for them, similar to what we have for electric cars?
Right now, most eMopeds and eMotorcycles either rely on home charging (just plugging into a wall outlet) or, in some cities, battery swapping stations. But as adoption increases, will that be enough? Car chargers (like Level 2 and DC fast chargers) aren’t always compatible or convenient for smaller two-wheelers both in terms of plug types and parking space.
So I’m curious what others think:
I’d love to hear thoughts from riders, EV owners, and urban planners. What would make the most sense as we move toward more electric mobility

So I’m curious what others think:
- Should cities and private operators invest in specialized e-motorbike charging points?
- Or is the battery-swap model more practical for smaller vehicles?
- Would having shared charging spots for cars and two-wheelers cause congestion, or help make charging more accessible overall?
